What’s up, Boujee Bosses, we are back with more must haves! We all know how clutch Amazon has become during this time (and honestly before this time as well), so I thought it’d be fun to share some business must haves from the goat of online stores. Let’s jump right in!
Film equipment
Listen. As y’all know, I recently launched our YouTube Channel at the beginning of this month, and it wouldn’t have been possible to start in such a short amount of time (got all my equipment in less than one week) if not for Amazon. I was able to get my softbox light set, camera battery (and charger) set, camera tripod, lavelier mic and mic batteries, USB cable and SD card all for less than $200!! And this is professional equipment y’all, you can’t beat this type of service anywhere else. I didn’t buy my actual camera on Amazon, but you can purchase DSLR’s as well. Even if you’re not starting a YouTube Channel, you’ll have to film videos at some point during your entrepreneurial journey, so these are a must have!
Shipping Supplies
For my Boujee Bosses with stores hoping to cut down on packaging and shipping costs, I highly recommend checking out Amazon for some great deals! You can get supplies polymailers, shipping label printers (and printing paper) and hang tag guns for a good cost. This is great for new entrepreneurs who may not have to funds to pay for special customizations on your packaging just yet, but still want it to look cute and professional. Shop away!
Electronics
I know I mentioned some electronics when talking about the film equipment but allow me to elaborate on variety of electronics you can get on Amazon. Not only can you buy cameras, you can buy desktops/laptops, TV’s, cell phones, Bluetooth speakers, the list goes on and on. You even have the option to buy warranties with these products just as you would in a regular tech store. And the prices are great, I feel like Amazon has cheaper costs than the actual brands who manufacture the products, which is very weird, but I’m not questioning it. Get the hookup, sis!
Business Décor
You want your workspaces to be inviting and comfy, especially since that’s where you’ll be spending most of your time (trust me, “most” is putting it lightly). I ordered some cute wall decor for less than $20, and one of the dopest things about this is you can buy directly from actual artists, not just big companies, so it’s more personable. We love supporting small businesses! Whether you’re getting a bookshelf, desk or chair for your office or a backdrop, plant or sign for your filming space, you’ll be sure to find a variety of cool (and cost effective) décor options to choose from!
Self-development Books
Y’all know ya girl is a book worm! I’m a firm believer that reading is essential as an entrepreneur whether for motivational purposes or just acquiring new skills. I just ordered Atomic Habits by James Clear, Soar by T.D. Jakes, From Mopping Floors to Making Millions by Ronne Brown last month for less than $40 and talk about money well spent, girl! I’m a bit old school and like reading tangible books, but you can order the e-versions and audibles if you’re not the traditional reading type. I always check Amazon first when it comes to purchasing books, because I have access to so many realistic reviews and they have the cheapest prices, so check it out! This also reminds me that I need to do an updated must have self-development books post….check out my previous self-help book list if you haven’t already while you wait on an updated post!
