What’s up babes, we’re back with another highlight! Our Melanin Boss Babe this week is very special, as her and I go waaayyyy back. We grew up in church together, and then reconnected this past summer during Columbia Fashion Week. You can imagine my surprise when I went to the first meeting for the beauty team to find her as the Director! Hair Extraordinaire, Mrs. Stephanie Goodwin, is here and ready to take over the hair industry. She’s created a Hair Frenzy Expo, and it’s for an amazing cause: “It was designed to give all of the unsung heros in the local beauty industry a platform to showcase their talents and to display their skills. They will also have a chance to network with like-minded individuals and build lasting and beneficial business relationships.”
In such a competitive industry, it’s always so inspiring to see an expert not only embrace others in that field but create comfortable spaces for them as well! The Hair Frenzy Expo will be on May 16, 2020, and they are still looking for volunteers, so if you’re in the area and/or free during that time, please sign up!
